Trying to stay motivated.

So I’ve lost 15 lbs, but have since gained 2 lbs back. I’m hovering around 200 and I was super pumped when I had finally gotten down under 200. But now I’m having a hard time staying motivated. I try to keep my calories to under 1300/day and I work out everyday. I also have 2 small kids, so I move all the time. But the scale doesn’t seem to. I’m losing focus because the scale isn’t showing my hard work. My clothes fit better and I definitely can tell my strength and endurance are increasing, but there’s something about still being in the 200 range that is deflating me. Anyone else have this problem? I had 2 slices of pizza tonight (after eating well within my calories for the rest of the day). I completely ruined my whole day in like 10 min. And I wasn’t hungry or craving pizza- I was just feeling frustrated. Anyway, any advice would be helpful! Thanks!

    Why has a bit of pizza ruined everything? It's just a bit of pizza.

    Go back to your deficit tomorrow.

    Do you weigh your food with scales?

    I haven’t been weighing my food, I probably need to. I use measuring cups and spoons when able to determine amount. I shouldn’t get on myself about the pizza, but I guess until I feel like my weight is consistently going down I shouldn’t be back tracking.

    Don't beat yourself up over a slice of pizza. Just regroup and start over. We are here for you. If you frustrated again lets work through it before you go to the kitchen. If you need a friend send me a request.

    I just started to really pay more attention to my food intake — I stopped “eyeballing” my food and took out the measuring cups and digital scale — it only takes a few extra seconds and its worth it- once you do that it makes it clear where you can still eat what you were eating to lose weight BUT its how much of what you were eating—- this will really make a huge difference in calorie intake
