Where am I going wrong?

I eat pretty healthily most of the time but since starting MFP I seem to be reaching my macros wayyyyyy before using my calories for the day. Any advice please?

Macros and calories are balanced mathematically. If you're going over on all your macros, you're going over calories. If you're going over on (say) carbs but staying in calories, then you just have to pay more attention.
I studied my food page at the end of the day in the beginning so I'd learn which foods have which macros, then I adjusted.
If you pre-log you can tweak it before it's too late.8 -

Unless you have a specific reason for tracking them, your macros aren't really important for weight loss.1

Oh ... ok ... I really wasnt aware of that. I've done Slimming World for just over a year ... didnt need to lose massively...but my daughter recommended trying MFP so I've never been a calorie counter and when the macros showed up it started to confuse me! Thanks again 😀0
