I hit my 100lbs today

Today I hit my hundred pounds lost. I am a bit emotional about it.
It has been a massive journey and one of the best things I have ever done. It has been so hard at times but it has shown me how appreciative I am off my body and how I am stronger than I even know. I have genuinely fallen in love with myself through this journey and that is something that I have never had before.
I am a bit sad I can not share this with anyone other than you guys as most people in real life have stopped being supportive and started to tell me to stop. However, I understand that it is just them projecting. I am happier and healthier than I have ever been so I know I am ok. I am 158lbs on a 5' 6" frame and eating 2000kcals a day, so I am all good.

Awesome work! You are inspirational. We are the same height and I only wish I look like you at 158lb! And more importantly, you've finally fallen in love with yourself, which is just 💗
As for the support- I know how you feel. Just remember that this journey is for you, and you only. If those around you cannot be supportive and share the milestones, joy and happiness with you, then *kitten* them. They probably don't want to hear how hard it is, and the truth hurts.
Cherish this moment, because you worked so hard.4 -
I am sorry other people have not been supportive. You look INCREDIBLE!!! Congrats on all your hard work. 100lbs is a huge feat and you should be so proud of yourself! Just amazing.2

CONGRATULATIONS! I'm sorry people in your life aren't supportive anymore! You look great! Thanks for sharing your success!2

Amazing transformation, well done to you. I'm starting out on my journey to lose about 60 pounds so any tips you have to offer would be really appreciated...!! How long did it take you to lose that amount of weight? Did you exercise from the start?2

I especially loved this part.
After reading so much about 1,200 calories being faar too much to eat, it is good to hear from a normal person losing weight without starving herself.
You can be extremely proud10 -
Congratulations! Fantastic accomplishment!!! You look great.1

Oh you guys are so sweet. The love has made me shed a little tear. It's been a big day.Amazing transformation, well done to you. My tips:
- give yourself permission to experiment with kcals, macros and exercise to see what works for you. This is your journey, only you will really know what works for you.
In the end, I found it liberating to be in charge of my own destiny rather than following some ones else is plan, like keto or whatever. Massive respect if it works for other people but I had to find my own way.
What work for me:
- drinking loads of water. My skin is the best it has ever been
- not restricting my kcals too much.
- finding a gym I love and the convincing my family and friends to join the same one!!
- learning to be nice to myself and to my body. Not to treat weight loss as another punishment. My body had been punished enough.
It took me 11 months to lose the weight and when I started my exercise goal was just to walk 5km a day. Now i am in the gym all the time but that is because I love it.12 -
You look fabulous. Sounds like you are doing it exactly right to me.3

You should be VERY proud of your accomplishments! Keep up the great work as you are such a positive influence on anyone trying to get control of their weight and their future well-being!!! You are a role model for many of us!!3

... im afraid being overweight and working hard to lose weight can be like overcoming a disability or injury of some sort... it’s only normal for those who support you to want you to get healthy and at a place where you don’t need as much emotional support any longer, right? don’t blame them for having burnout, they still love you and you have succeeded♥️2
-
Congratulations!! That is a huge accomplishment and you look phenomenal!1

that's great! you look amazing, you should be so proud of yourself, despite what others think! great job, people like you motivate me to push harder!1

Oh I don't (and have never) expect support. That's not the problem. They just keep telling me to stop losing weight and exercising. Even though quite a lot of them are smaller than me still.0 -
ah, misunderstood.
youve done a fantastic job💖1 -
You look great!! Awesome job!!1
-
You look fantastic. Great job! I'm sorry your real life peeps don't get it but all of us here TOTALLY do.1
-
I think you look fantastic & did a fantastic job! Keep on your path. The people who tell you to stop and say stupid stuff are the same who can't deal with success. Remember, misery loves company.1
-
Congrats! You did an amazing job... Remember this is for you not for anyone else. So keep them saying what ever they wanna say, u r healthier, stronger and you look fantastic.
Keep up the good work.1 -
This is fantastic, you look amazing and should be so proud of yourself!!!1
-
Did you only focus on cico?0
-
Wow! You should be so proud. I'm just starting the journey you've just done so it's inspirational to see what you accomplished. Thanks for giving me hope!1

Sometimes, others don't like to see someone succeed at their goals because they don't want to feel uneasy about their own goals that they're not acting upon. It makes them uncomfortable in their own skin to see someone succeed in theirs. You've done great and look like a champion.1

Amazing keep up the great work. From experience people will eventually stop making all the comments when the realize you don't plan on stopping. I think it gets to a point people get jealous that you were able to improve your life and they aren't.
You look amazing!1
