I have been having smoothies with spinach as my greens. I just noticed I am having 450% vitamin K just from my daily smoothie. Is this bad?

Thanks

Are you on Coumadin or warfarin?

I would say if you're the type to eat the same thing everyday indefinitely, I'd work on changing it up every once in a while, but if you naturally change things up, even monthly, it's fine. Vitamin K is a fat soluble vitamin so toxicity is possible, but it's a high upper limit and chances are you're not actually absorbing all the vitamin k that's in the spinach.

In general, probably not a bad thing unless you're chugging spinach smoothies for months on end.
