epic fail

Bern running couch to 5k. On week 9. Uptill now, its been mentally tough but I've perserverd and got through it. Today was torture! I ran week 9 day 2 and it was terrrible. The pain in my calves started the mintue I started to jog. I wanted to give up so many times. I am a fighter though and hate giving up.

I ran the whole 30 minutes but at smails pace. I've been really pleased with myself up until today. Today was just awful. I hope that things improve for Friday!

    It's NOT an epic fail to continue - even at a snails pace and finish the distance and time! An epic fail is to give up the program altogether and go back to being a couch potato! You've done so well so far! Give yourself a pat on the back. Why not give this run another go in a few days time rather than moving on to the next workout on the program - to help you regain your confidence in yourself? Keep up the good work! :)

    having a bad day is not a fail. Allowing that to derail you or demotivate you would be a fail. Pick yourself up, let yourself heal from whatever happened and try again.
