Sorry in advance but for all things calories I am a total Noob!
I got given some kitchen scales a while back and pulled them out tonight to use..I cant figure out though what the weight is im looking at..the scales i have are the same as these..http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/SUNBEAM-Electronic-Digital-Kitchen-Food-Scale-5kg-/180682129161?pt=AU_Kitchen_Scales&hash=item2a117e7f09
If the weight showed as 176. can someone help me what that would be?

If its set to grams that would be 6.2 ounces. you can set it either way:)

i clicked the little button underneath but it doesnt say whether its ounces or grams so i cant tell. I set it to zero with the plate on and loaded on the lasagne...hehehe If that was grams wouldnt that be tiny..it wasnt a tiny portion :P

Test it by weighing something pre-packaged with the weight on the pack, and see if it tallies with what the scale says.
