Breastfeeding while loosing weight

I'm trying to loose the 40 lbs that stuck around after baby. Any tips on safely limiting carbs and calories while breastfeeding? I added 500 extra cals to my daily to cover the calories but what about carb intake? I tend to crave carbs when I try to limit them.

I'm currently trying to lose weight while breastfeeding as well. The problem is that breastfeeding makes me so damn hungry! My downfall is sugar, so I've cut sugar out. I do still eat carbs. Allow yourself at least some carbs so you don't crave them as much, and get healthy snacks like nuts and fruit for when you're hungry after breastfeeding. Good luck!1

Carbohydrates can be good for you eg. Brown rice, brown bread. Leave the processed stuff alone. I find varying my fruits helps me not want processed things1
