Introduce myself

Good morning. I am 65 years old. My weight has been a challenge for me all my life. I've lost the weight with multiple diets but always over time gained it back. Now it has become a burden I can not deal with. It restricts my mobility as I am aging and doing the things I love have become difficult if not almost impossible. I am pretty active as I have 3 horses which I care for daily including carrying 40 pound bags of feed and 50 pound hay bales to cleaning their stalls. I also have dogs, cats and chickens. I live with my 25 year old daughter who is in amazing shape and races motocross after hanging up her saddle. In addition to my daughter, I just put up a small home on my property for my mom who is 84 and weighs 105. I am the only one in my family where weight has been an issue. I am up to 220 which is an all time high. I am 5'6" and am most comfortable between 158 and 170. Sharing my failure is not easy but I am open to help and ready to make a major change. I look forward to a real new me by the end of the year.

I am about the same as you ...same age i weight 235 but i am not active as you are. My husband and i live in a small town with little to do. When i was younger i was fairly small in size but as i got older the weight just piled on. I was at 270 at one time, but am having issues with losing now.0
