Cravings for junk! Need advice!

All day today I’ve been having cravings for junk food! I’ve cut out all junk and cut back on my sugar intake dramatically. But today I am so afraid I’m going to eat something stupid and mess it all up! I just lost 10lbs and I neeeed to keep it going. My will power is excellent, so I’m worried about why, of all days and times, do I feel that I MUST have a donut 🍩 😂😩🥺 heelllpp

What do you do to help beat those cravings? I need advice! Do you get cravings? What for? And how do you stop thinking about it all day!!!

    Is cutting everything out forever going to be a sustainable way of eating for you? It does not sound like it. Nothing wrong with cutting down and keeping tempting foods out of the house if you have issues moderating, but unless you plan on never eating them again, slowly learning how to incorporate them into your diet either as a special occasion, weekly or a small amount daily could help.

    I don't beat cravings. If I want something, I figure out how to fit it in. If it is something small I can have it daily, if it is more of a higher calorie indulgence then I will save up calories and enjoy it one future day. I never feel guilty or like I messed up or fall off the wagon because everything is in the plan.

    I usually just give into my cravings and log it, try to make it fit.

    Another option is, log what you are craving if it is quite "bad" it may change how you feel about it (kill the craving for you)

    I would say try eating just half the donut but who am I kidding. I can never drink just one glass of wine (which is usually my craving). I just drink it and track all 750 ml of it. If you want the donut that badly eat it, track it and move on. Don't keep eating them but don't deprive yourself either.

    Don’t do anything that isn’t maintainable forever. If you’re craving junk, have some. It’s not one donut today that’s going to put on weight. It’s donuts almost everyday that’s going to hurt ya.

    Lol thank you all! I ended up NOT giving in to my cravings. I went home and had a vegan cinnamon bar. It was sweet enough to get my sweet tooth down and only 90 cals ☺️🙏🏼🌱 I just knew I would end up feeling awful afterward and nothing not even a donut is worth the feeling of feeling down 👍🏼

    You can have a maintenance day. You will be ok. When I fill up on healthy food and don't allow myself to get super hungry, I have less cravings. My main temptations are ice cream and fruit.
