i'm training for a marathon...yikes! and about a month ago, i was feeling like crap after every long run. i started using mfp to figure out if my food intake was the problem. i am in love that it tracks food, water (so key) and exercise. now, i'm eating enough and eating enough of the right stuff. i've gotten in a 16 miler that felt great and participated in a ragnar relay last weekend without any troubles. mfp was key for the ragnar because sometimes it is a challenge to eat enough when you run, drive, sleep and repeat. marathon is less than 6 weeks off...

Congratulations on your success so far! I'm training for a half marathon right now and struggling to get enough food in. Any tips?0

Fantastic news! Glad MFP is helping you to track and to train! I love this site and its helped me so much to track calories in and out. As well as the motivation and inspiration I find in browsing the forums and making friends for support.
I am training for a 1/2 marathon and loving it. Maybe a full next year? ...we will see. Best of luck with your marathon!0 -
You can feel SORE tomorrow or SORRY tomorrow, YOU CHOOSE?!

I love these inspirational quotes ;o)
Great job on all of your running successes! I've started the C25K program (D2, W3) and so far, I have not fallen in love with running....I'm just hoping I can get to the point of doing the 5K without passing out! Haha!0 -
Are you doing any Gu's or anything like that? I have to have something if I'm going 8 miles or more. I trained last year for a full and it was bad....had to learn how to give the right nutrition during the training runs....
Which one are you running?
I did the San Antonio Full last year0
