I was wondering how many calories women are on here are eating a day? I am trying to aim for 1700 calories and I workout 5 days a week cardio and weights!

It's not going to be very meaningful, because everyone has a different non-exercise activity level, varying height/current weight, age, exercise routine, and more.

I'm in maintenance, currently mid-130s (pounds) at 5'5", age 63, which is a little heavier than I'd prefer. I'd maintain that weight at something a little over 2000 calories before exercise, usually mid-2000s after, based on around 4 years of logging experience. I lost most of around 50 pounds (age 59-60) at 1400-1600 calories plus exercise, so 1600-1900ish actual gross intake most of the time. I'm losing very slowly now at 1850 + exercise most days.

I eat 1270. I don't log exercise at all because all I do is walk for work and volunteering. I have a lot to lose.

I'm currently eating 1,500 plus a lot of exercise calories. I'm about 32 pounds from goal, have lost 35.

I eat about 1,500 a day. I take about 1 or 2 rest days a week and I've already lost 3lbs starting out.

I eat 1200 plus all (and then some) of my exercise calories which usually brings me up to around 1800+ . I walk about 15,000 steps a day plus about 20/30' biking every day + 1hr weight training at least twice a week. I'm slowly losing

1320 + exercise cals. Lost 46 lbs, still 10-20 to go (will know when I get there). 31 yrs, 5'5'', desk job, working out 3-5 times per week.

ETA: I didn't start out at 1320. I was around 1600 and have had to drop over time as I'm getting closer to goal weight.

Trying to cut a bit aggressively right now, so 1700.

    Maintenance is ~2300-2400.

1250-1300 here. I am 59, currently weigh 137 and would like to get down to 130. I’m 5’ 4.5” tall. I am also trying to build muscle though, so the scale weight is less important than getting rid of flab. I lift 3x a week, do cardio 2x a week and rest one day a week. The other day is either also a rest day or a hiking day, depending on what’s going on in my life.

    Why is this flagged?

Use the recipe builder function, and set the number of servings to 5. In the web version of MFP, it's within the "Food" tab. In the Android phone app, it's under the "Recipes, Meals and Foods" item, at the bottom of "Recipes". I assume the Apple iOS app is similar to Android, but I'm not certain.
