Had a short sweet and simple interview

She asked me about myself
My current job
She told me what the job I applied for job duties were their schedule

Then she asked me was I looking for a particular pay rate
Then she asked my availability
She then stood up and said “well it’s an easy job and I think you’d like it”
“We have 2 more other candidates to interview and I hope they call you back”

And that’s was it .... she was kind of contradicting so I’m not sure if I got it or not

Only time will tell. I heard a good tip once about job interviews that’s always helped me... Go into the job interview as if you’ve already got the job! You will feel more confident and it will show throughout the interview. YMMV :) Good luck, hope you get it!

Did you dress for success? Form fitting, tailored blazer color coordinated with a pencil skirt falling one inch above the knee. Daisy brooch in canary yellow with forest green leaves on 14 carat gold plate. Silk hosiery with Etienne Aigner flats. Small Coach bag or Michael Kors wallet with a Cole Haan key ring dangling on a gold plated chain. This will get your foot in the door. If you wear some Maybelline and Revlon especially to really make an impression, I'd say you're in.

This is so beautifully specific. I just bought all of this through Amazon for my next interview. Thank you for your help. What perfume would you suggest? Or is a scent too forward?

I love that about how she sets the total picture with great thought to detail!

I nominate @newmeadow as mfp's go-to fashion advisor and event planner...and possibly life coach too!

Not even something very subtle, half a spray?

If you see a sign “This is a scent free workplace” get thee to the washroom and wash that perfume off.

Pro tip, arrive ten minutes early to double check your polish in the washroom.

Also pro tip, it’s useless guessing if you will get called back. The interview is over. Do your best to put it behind you.

Also, interviews are a two way street. If you get a weird vibe from the interviewer, ask more questions before you accept. Such as, “Have I met my immediate supervisor?”.
