Absolutely not. While my reduction was 20 years ago, it was the best thing I ever did!

Not at all. It's actually probably better the older you are as you don't have to go through as many replacement surgeries.

Not at all! My mom had her breast reduction and lift in her mid-50s and it has changed her life for the better.

I had one just before my 41st birthday 5 years ago. BEST DECISION EVER. Yes, I'm shouting. :)
Your future self will thank you.

My friend is your age and just had a breast reduction and is very happy about it and glad she did it. She looks fantastic - much better proportioned. If this is something you want to do I say go for it!

I think quite a few of us feel the same about men, LOL.

OP... if you're young enough to want it, then do it. You're not done living yet!

I’m 47 and I have wanted a breast reduction for half my life. Good going for losing the weight and no way. You’re absolutely not too old to get a breast reduction. I want to lose about 20 pounds more and then will see how I feel and how I look.

I say you're not too old. As long as your doctor is on board then I say go for it!

I am 36 and plan on getting a reduction sometime in the next 5 years (money allowing). All the older women who've had it done say the only thing they would do differently is have it done even earlier!

I had one at 52 or 53 after losing 125+ pounds. Really happy I did so!

Absolutely not. And if that’s you in your profile pic - you look so young!

I think that as long as your doc is on board, and you are aware of the risks - do what will help you and make you happy.

I'd always been a neutral until a lady who is approaching 70 years was feted off with young women in their teens and young 20s at a Wedding of all events. My point to you is - never deprioritise your beauty maintenance. Society is unforgiving.

I had a tummy tuck at 61! I had a tough time recovering but it was worth it in the end. You worked hard to get where you are and you deserve to be happy with your results. Just be gentle with yourself as you recover and take the time you need to heal.

51 isn't too old for really anything...maybe 91 would be too old for most things.

If your doctor doesn't have an issue with it due to health reasons, then do you. Make sure you get multiple opinions so you can pick the best doctor for you.
