Greetings - I have unusual hobbies. I am a heavy weapons fighter in the Socity for Creative Anachranism. Every Wednesday and Sunday, I shoot traditional achery with a 55 pound long bow and a 33 inch draw for 90 minutes. I then put on 150 pounds of metal and leather armor and run around for another 60 minutes pulling a 30 pound bow with a 30 inch draw. By the end of the sessions I am drenched in sweat and feeling really good. Unfortunately I have no way of documenting the cardiovascular or the strength training I am achieving. I know I'm building muscle - over the past 3 years I've gained 1.5 inches on each bicep and 2 inches on each thigh of muscle, and I've lost 20 pounds from one annual physical to another (exactly 12 months apart). I am a believer of the "If you're not sweating, you're not excersing" motto. I get discouraged every time I log my food intake and cannot log my "excersice". Any ideas would be grateful! - Thank you, Crazy Cat Lady

Consider purchasing a heart rate monitor that also calculates calories burned. With this you would be able to log all of your strenuous activities0
