Hi, I’ve been logging 3 meals a day of Huel and scanned the barcode to add it, MFP is showing that I am getting only 1% of my Iron and Vitamin A though? I eat other regular foods around the Huel but I should be getting more than enough Iron and Vit A from the Huel, does anyone know why this is?

Thanks,
Ian

MFP is no good for tracking micros...

Huel entry was probably made by another User that isn't bothered about the micros. Create your own if you know all the nutritional content. The rest of the database is hit and miss as you're not required to enter them when creating foods. Do you have reason to be concerned about your Vit A & Iron levels? If not I wouldn't worry about it.

Entries are user created, so you often can't rely on anything other than calories or sometimes macros. You're not usually going to be able to assess deficiencies based on mfp entries unless you stick to usda entries (and even then, mfp only really supports things the labeling guidelines require).

Oh I see, thanks for the replies! I have no reason to worry at the moment I was just thinking ahead in a couple of months it would be an issue, although now I see I can edit the macros myself using the nutritional data on the pack!
