My friend who is a keen gym goer recommended that I buy a vibration plate to change up my fitness routine and build strength to help my running. So I opted for one from Mirafit because it was way cheaper than others on the market and i'm pretty happy with it so far. But I just wanted to know what you guys think about them? Am I wasting my time or do you think they're a pretty decent bit of kit?

I had been interested in the vibration plate for a long time but a lot of studies have been saying they dont help burn calories. I would like to hear from others about their point of view as well.0

All they do is make you less stable, which compromises form and increases the likelihood of injury.1

IMO they're probably about as effective as those 1950s fat jiggling machines.

Save your money. They have a place in physiotherapy and may have some benefits when used properly but the way they are sold is grossly misleading.
