Fitness Testing...Oh the horror!

So at my school, at the beginning of the year, we do this thing called fitness testing. Basically, it is the ultimate form of torture, especially for someone who can't do a pushup to save their life. I know there's no way I can get much stronger by Friday, but does anyone have any tips on how to at least pull off a couple decent pushups?

Oooh, that's tough. Have your PE teachers been working on this with you and your class? It seems so early to be having fitness testing--the teachers must hate that!

Is it mandatory? Tell them to jog on if you're not happy doing it...0

My only suggestion... When you're in position, just don't go too far down. The farther down you go, the harder it will be to push back up. Try going like 1/3 to 1/2 way down. Good luck!0

I suggest not stressing too much. It is supposed to serve as an idea of how far you have come at the end of the year right? So just aim for trying to improve for the one at the end of the year. I always hated those tests too! I especially hate the sit and reach... it doesn't tell them anything except that you have flexible or tight muscles (there is a long upsetting story attached to this lol I won't make any of you sit through it)0

Thanks for the link!! I just got the lite app. I'm not sure I can do any!! I always do the half push ups on 30DS!!0
