Hi, my name is Josh and I recently got engaged. Right now I am in pretty decent shape, but at the same time just average. I joined this website in hopes that I could receive some help in developing my body into something like hollywood would portray. (ryan gosling, hugh jackman, taylor lautner) I have about 6 months until I get married, but I don't expect to be done within that short of time. Due to being enrolled in my final semester of college and having a full time job I will only have 3 days a week to hit the gym, which will include 3 full body workouts (many of these workouts will come from p90x). I'm gonna try to do cardio/yoga (for flexibility) at least 2 times a week in addition to the gym. Now that you know my goal, I'll explain what I'm looking for.
1. I really need a eating plan. Normally when I workout I cut back on foods because I'm trying to lose weight, but this time I want to gain about 10 lbs of muscle(maybe more) I don't want to gain fat and in fact I sort of want to get my fat % down to about 5-6%. I would say I'm right around 9-10% now. Please help me! I know I have to eat more, but what do I need to eat so that I don't gain fat and rather just muscle
2. What types of supplements should I take? I'm pretty comfortable with protein, but I'm not sure exactly how much I should be taking and when. Also what brand would do me the most good? I will not do steroids or anything that is not considered "safe" such as creatine. Ive heard of a substance called N0 explode, but I'm not sure whether it is safe or not.
3. Some support would be awesome, I really would like someone to hold me accountable. My fiance already thinks I'm in good enough shape so she doesn't really help. I need some outside help that can tell me when I'm slacking, and in return I promise to be truthful and up-to-date on my posts so everyone can know what I'm doing.
Thank you so much! My biggest fears are not finding an answer to #1, because I would hate to put the time at the gym in and fail just because I am not eating correctly! Thanks again!
Any other advice would greatly be appreciated!

You'll also have to work on progressive overload to get the muscle to grow. This will take a lot of energy so you'll end up eating more carbs too.
Protein supplements have been shown to work. So has creatine. BCAA's are also another solid supplement. Knowing how long it takes to put on muscle, in 6 months if you put on 5lbs solid pounds, that would be really good.0
