Hi I’m looking to loose 5 stone that I put on during pregnancy and have kept for 3 years I’m looking for some advice on the best exercises and what sort of calorie intake I should be having?

The best exercise is the one you'll stick to4 -
You can set your rate of loss for 1.5 or 2 pounds a week. Then eat your goal calories suggested by MFP.
I second the best exercise being the one you will do. It can be as simple as walking. It can be more complicated. I couldn't stick with exercise until I started doing martial arts, which I enjoy. My wife couldn't stick with exercise, until she did joined a gym that offers jump rope fitness classes, because she enjoys them. Suffering through exercise is not something that usually leads to long term success. So finding something you can enjoy will make it a lot simpler.3
