ELLIPTICAL. CARDIO. mfp users, help! <3

Hi everyone. Anyone on MFP have any success towards WEIGHT LOSS (followed by a healthier diet) using only the elliptical as their main source of cardio?? What do you recommend..? We have the Precor brand ellipticals at our gym with a "weight loss" option program or the "interval course." I have done the interval course and really like it..

Starting to get bored with the treadmill so wanted some feed back whether its positive or negative. THANKS!

    I'm no expert or have any stats for you but my own personal experience is that when I have done up to 1 hr on the elliptical, my weight loss has increased. It's def a harder workout than the treadmill. I can see that from the heart rate also. I've been doing 20 to 30 min trying to work back to an hr.

    I hurt my back a few months ago and fell out of shape due to lack of all exercise for 6 weeks.
