You could try something like this: https://ohsheglows.com/2019/03/07/meal-prep-week-long-power-bowls/

Quinoa is a higher protein grain, and make sure you include some lentils, black beans or other legumes, a little bit of nuts or seeds, maybe some hummus. You could even add some diced tofu, although I'm very anti-soy so I wouldn't do that.

All those smaller amounts of protein in each ingredient should add up to a very decent amount in the whole power bowl.

If you are anti soy for a reason that is not regarding a physical reaction to it, may I ask why?

Seitan is easily available in Asian supermarkets. Ask for tins of Buddhist chicken or Buddhist duck.

Tempeh is another lesser known vegan protein from Indonesia available in the fridge or freezer section of an Asian supermarket.

Quorn is another lesser known vegan protein source that can be ordered online (Amazon) or found in larger supermarkets. The mince is very similar to meat in texture but some people object to the fact that it is highly processed.

    I like lentils, personally.

Some great responses here! I'm moving more and more towards a plant based diet myself for both health and ethical reasons. I really love cooking curries with beans, and legumes like chickpeas and lentils. Also if you like nuts, its nice to add cashews to a casserole or almonds or walnuts to a salad. I've found lots of beautiful recipes on instagram when i follow hashtags like 'veganrecipes' or 'vegetarianrecipes'. Some nice sites with yummy recipes: https://www.rabbitandwolves.com/ and also https://itdoesnttastelikechicken.com/ This lady is famous on instagram for vegan and vegetarian recipes https://biancazapatka.com/en/ I agree about the protein powder. Some are great and some are disgusting. Maybe google reviews of protein powder to see if you can find a highly rated one.
edit: I'm here in Australia so we have different brands here. Also I love adding seasoning to my vegetarian and vegan meals like herbs, spices and i'm such a huge fan of chilli and curry powder!

Oh she glows is another wonderful website. There are so many great vegetarian and vegan recipes out there and i'm sure you will find plenty that work for you that have enough protein. At the same time if you like snacking, adding protein to your snacks will give you a protein boost e.g. yoghurt, nuts, hard boiled eggs, quest bars, seeds.

Good Morning! I have recently transitioned to vegetarian diet, and I am having trouble with meal plans that have enough protein. I have protein powder but I don't want to rely on only shakes for protein. If anyone has any meals or suggestions that will allow me to still get a good amount of protein, please share! As of now, I am doing protein shakes and eggs in my day to hit that protein goal, but I honestly cannot stand my protein powder, I need to switch but I don't want to waste it so I'm trying to embrace it first. I use the vegan veggie patties so those are not high protein, but I have never tried cooking tofu and tempeh, I would like to try. Any snacks or recommendations are welcome!

Check out Quorn chicken style pieces and steak style strips!

I’m new and haven’t mastered the MFP mode of ‘replying’ yet, but I’d still like to share! Two companies, whose Veg products I really enjoy are Field Roast (seitan Smoked Apple Sage Sausage - smoked sausage taste, Fieldburgers - YUM burgers, Italian Sausage - also Yum) and LightLife ( Veg protein Deli Ham, Bologna, Italian Sausage - all great tasting!). The Field Roast sausages are about 23 Gr protein; the Fieldburgers are 25 Gr each and the LightLife products are about 12 Gr protein each! Hope this helps someone!
