About 2 months ago I encouraged my Dad to join MFP... OK it was more like I grabbed his phone and added the app. :0) He has been so dedicated, logging daily. Without his commitment, I would probably not have continued with the program so I realize how much support and encouragement has benefited us both. HE HAS LOST10 POUNDS IN LIKE 2 MONTHS! I'm so proud of him! Please join me in congratulating him today... we could all use support and motivation in this journey.

    Dads are GREAT! My dad is my #1 fan, and I am his #1 fan. Thats great that you guys are doing this together and you will both benefit from this is such a great way!!!!!! Glad its working lady!!! =D

  • wow.....do I feel special. thanks to everyone who responded in a positive way.Counting calories is a pain, but just logging everthing you eat and let MFP tally up is really pretty easy. I used to eat Wheat Chex and 2% milk. after seeing the fat content and sugar. It didn't take long to fly by the 1% and use non fat milk. I don't eat cereal much anymore but MFP really helps me target the areas I need to improve on. Next stop 34" jeans :D
