Hi All,

Without getting too much into my past, I’ve been chronically depressed for the past 5 years as a result of a major injury where I lost most of my left hand. I ballooned in weight, up to 270. On March 6th I decided I was done.

I’m eating healthy, I’m working out every day, and I’m almost down 40 pounds. I feel good, and I think that all these endorphins from working out every day has lifted me out of my depressed state I’ve been in the last 5 years. I honestly feel like a new person with a new lease on life. I’m ready to go.

My goal is to be under 180, so a total loss of 90 lbs, but as I seem to be putting on muscle, the number isn’t really as important to me as much as being healthy for my kids and looking in the mirror and not having that feeling of self loathing.

Anyway, I’m going really hard this time, and I’m not gonna give up again.

Good for you! Keep on working out and eating right; the weight loss will follow.
