I usually cook for my family and I would like for us to all get healthy together, any suggest they would like ?

    What type of things do they like now? It's really hard to tell what other people will like. But I can give you a few examples of healthy meals we've had recently

    * Catfish nuggets with habanero tarter sauce, blackeyed pea salad, raw sugar snap peas
    * Grilled pork chops, homemade apple sauce, collard greens sauteed in olive oil and garlic
    * Shrimp cocktail, grilled fresh trout, roasted spaghetti squash tossed with spinach, garlic and parmesan
    * venison stew (with carrots, parsnips, turnips, sweet potatoes, onions and garlic), salad of baby lettuce and shredded beets with balsamic vinegar, crusty bread
    * cod cooked shakshuka style w rice
    * shrimp stir fry (sugar snaps, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, peppers, peanuts) in a kung pao sauce
    * broccoli chicken casserole

    What does your family currently eat? What do they currently enjoy?

    A healthy diet is not a specific list of food but everything you consume working together to meet your body's needs. You need to look at nutrients of foods you eat and how they fit your whole day. There are a lot of ways to "eat healthy".
    Generally people need to eat foods with things like protein, vitamins, minerals, fats, carbohydrates, fiber.
    If someone has a particular health condition they may need to limit or avoid some foods to eat healthy.

    If your family is like mine they may eat a lot of one food group and not enough of others. Soups are an easy way to get them to eat vegetables. My vegetable avoiding daughter likes minestrone.

    vegetable frittatas
    low carb tortilla chicken and veggie quesadillas
    tacos (i make mine with soy crumbles)
    pasta with red sauce made with barilla protein pasta and a side of vegetables or salad
    turkey loaf
    grilled chicken fajitas
    chinese vegetable stir fry with tofu or chicken

    I made a lot of fried deep fried and unhealthy meals. Today I have seen to many Dr's that all say I am obesity and have a lot of fatty tissue. I am trying hard but it's really hard when my life is soo busy. I am meeting with a nutritionist my thing is i do not eat much and my day is 1 to 2 meals a day and have lots of pills to take. Thanks for all the list I will look them up for ideas.

    I typically plan my meals for the week around my protein - depending what is on sale (chicken, pork etc); Pinterest has good ideas; meal prep on weekends if you can; make batches of food and freeze for later;

    Search for sheet pan suppers or sheet pan meals. I love the concept and it works. Cover a sheet pan with foil if you want easy clean up. You cook everything on one sheet pan in the oven.     Get a crock pot. You can let it do the cooking for you, and you can often use a lot less oil (or even no oil) because you're simmering food instead of frying it. Soups/stews/chili are a standard crock pot thing, but there are more creative recipes out there.

    Sit down with Hubby and have him pick a few recipes. It doesn't have to be fancy, just tell him you are tired of the same old, same old and would like to try something new. Instead of frying the chicken, try grilling it and add a bit of spice/seasoning. Instead of frying potatoes try roasting them instead. Make little changes every few days and in a few weeks you all be eating much healthier.

    I tend to cook the same for all the family i.e. choise low fat protein base for meals. Either grill, bake or casseroles. Increase the carb element for family members eg rice, pasta, potatoes. I occasionally will give the family fries and i will have skinny fries, potato or rice.
    Fill out your plate with extra veggies or salad.

    Try making the meals you love but replacing your ingredients with healthier options: almond flour for crust, avocado oil for pan frying, coconut oil in recipes, and increase the veggies. More fiber will make you feel satiated easier and longer. Steam your veggies if you can and snack on raw. Toss out you processed ingredients and make your own. Dressings, mayo, various boxed recipes can all be done easily in the kitchen and result in more NEAT activities that further your weight loss goals.

    For example, recently I was inspired by the jalapeño McChicken and made them at home. Even made the bread for the bun all with healthy alternatives.

    Paleo gives excellent guidance for foods to eat and if included in any recipe search will generally steer in the right direction. Once accustomed to cooking with the right ingredients, it gets easy and opens more creativity.
