Hi! I’m 40 year old woman looking to have a healthier lifestyle even though I have Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (I get dizzy and have a perpetually high heart rate when I stand and/or move). In the last few years, my life changed drastically through a health saga that all started with a major stroke, moved to heart surgery and has now left me with POTS. I am now determined to lose the 25 lbs I’ve gained through these health experiences and embrace the life God has given me. I hope there are others here on a similar journey who might be willing to buddy up so we can motivate each other.

I have POTS as well. Had it really bad in HS, passed out almost every day for a month so bad that my body started exhibiting seizure activity cause of the stress put on it. It triggered a lot of stuff for me and I dealt with some low times and gained around 70 pounds from the time it all started to now. I'm 21M here but here for some motivation if you need it! Making changes can be hard with POTS cause I feel like the body can take longer to adjust and is more sensitive to changes in diet and activity. So I definitely feel you there! Good luck!!
