Body Image While on Weight Loss Journey

Hi All! I have about 60 pounds to lose. I know it’s a process and I’m trusting it. I've had to do this before.

Something I’m really struggling with this time more than ever before is looking at myself in pics, mirror, wherever. It’s depressing and demotivating me. I’m so afraid it’s going to kick me off the right path.

Has anyone else felt this way and been successful overcoming it?

I focus on looking at pics of where I want to be. I keep one on my mirror so I focus on that instead of what I currently see. I also write my weekly progress in lbs and body fat on my mirror so I can see that things are going in the right direction. I may not be where I want to be yet, but I'm closer today than I was when i started.

I feel that way everyday, but I want to get to my goal more now than ever and I won't let my mind trick me into quitting. I know I'm pretty close I focus on the numbers, watching the trends, and how my clothing fits.

Thank you, I like the goal pic and stats on the mirror idea!

I have all the good feels: stronger from exercising, clothes fit better, happier with food choices. Then I see myself. It makes me sad and forget my why.

I was afraid of the scale so hopefully this image thing will pass too with some more noticeable weight loss.
