At this point I have reached my goal weight & don't want the number on my scale to drop or go higher.. Want to maintain BUT I need to focus on my stomach & thighs. I know there is no such thing as spot reduction, but I really want to have a flatter stomach & be able to slim my thighs.. What are the best work outs for stomach / abs flatter tummy & what have been helpful exercises that really improved on your thighs?? (not bulking lol)

i do taekwondo and that has definetly worked with my stomach and thigh/butt area. i am tightening up nicely.
also running is good. do interval running. power walk for a few minutes. run for 45 seconds+. walk for a few minutes. run. etc. change it to suit you.
also dancing is a good full body workout.
i also reccomend weight training for sculpting.
and listen to me very carefully. YOU WILL NOT BULK UP.
it is extremely hard for a woman to bulk up. you have to be eating surplus calories and be doing VERY intense workout to see any kind of bulking. strength training is just perfect for toning up your body.

I feel ya on this one. I still have around 10 pounds that I would like to lose but I am toning up by doing insanity. My problem area is my stomach, I like it WAY more than I ever have but I still want it to be flatter and firm.

I have heard weights do help...I plan on trying p90x after insanity...we'll see after my 60 days are up how much I like my abs! I also have hip hop abs (from a friend) and it does sound kinda fun....cheesy, but fun.

Let me know if you find a perfect ab flattening workout!

brazil butt lift by beachbody, i have only done two of their workouts and I hurt the next day. they have about 5 workouts and they have 3 programs to follow. One for reducing, one for building, and one for toning up the legs butt and belly.

I have about 10-15 lbs to go but running, yoga & weight training really help me. Weight training may change the scale a bit but it'll tighten up those problem areas and boost your metabolism making maintenance easier. For your stomach, eating clean & early will do wonders especially when you have less body fat. Remember.. abs are carved in the kitchen =]

Try pilates. It should definately help with the stomach, and it may help with the thighs as well.

Think of this, you want a flatter stomach(stomach to go down) but you don't want the scale to change? This won't happen unless you replace the fat with muscle. You can't "slim"(go down in size) but weigh the same. You have to reduce more weight.

P90X. I'm pretty positive there is NOT another program that will deliver like p90x. I'm part of a group we're starting the day after labor day. Let me know if you're interested.
