I have a bag of frozen prawns in my freezer but I have no idea what to do with them! Does anyone have any simple recipes that they would like to share with me?
Thanks in advance!

I love prawns! I would defrost them, put them in some olive oil, chopped garlic, a small amount of red chilli chopped fine and lease them for an hour or until you want to eat them and then pour everything into a fairly hot frying pan and keep stirring them until they are cooked. I serve this with rice or noodles.

If they are the already shelled ones they are great as stirfry's.....

Also just quick fry them up quickly with some lemon and some chilli or tabasco

Make them into a salad with avocado, tomato and some leaves. Dressing made with light Mayo, squeeze of ketchup, Tabasco and lime juice.

    My fiance's favourite:

Defrost the prawns (you can do this in a sieve in the sink under running cold water - takes about 10-15 minutes.

Boil some of your favourite pasta (small types work well)

Grate a couple of courgettes (zucchini) , and add those to the cooking pasta a minute or 2 before it is ready. Drain. Return to the pan on a gentle heat, add the prawns with a dash of lemon juice, some finely chopped chilli, fresh parsley. A little oil if it sticks too much. Stir until the prawns turn pink.

Thanks, they all sound so nice, not going to be able to decide what to make now! Haha. I'll have to buy more prawns and try them all =)

Do a web search for spanish fish stew. It's tomato based, and lovely!

We buy at least one bag of colossol unpeeled shrimp at Sam's Club every week and this is one of my favorite go to recipes for the shrimp, it's very yummy and spicy. I like to serve it with brown rice or couscous. It's a recipe from www.allrecipes.com, where I get most of my recipes. We also like to do a shrimp scampi bake with some lemon, garlic, olive oil, worcestershire sauce and red pepper flakes and bake it for about 10 minutes and serve over whole wheat pasta. We probably have some type of seafood 3 times a week, even had Red Lobster on Tuesday night! Enjoy!

Saute garlic and shallots till tender but not brown. Add sun-dried tomatoes and cook for 1 min. Add white wine and the shrimp and cook till the shrimp are pink (about 7 min). Toss this with some whole grain spaghetti and season with salt and pepper to taste. Add a big bunch of arugula and gentle toss. Serve immediately.

    SO yummy!
