Hello myfitnesspalers !!!!

I'm here for motivation, determination, and success in losing weight I have until the end of April, 2012 to lose 50 pounds, so hopefully this site will help me achieve this. I'm open to tips suggestions, success stories that are motivational and realistic !!!!

    Hay ! I set a couple of goals in three month bouts, that really helped me if its any use to you.

    Set goals (which you obviously have)
    Drink plenty of water!
    exercise regularly
    Eat healthy
    Record everything that goes in your mouth
    take your measurements!
    take a photo every fortnight! - great to see changes

    Welcome! Setting mini-goals helps. 50 lbs can seem like a lot all at once but 5 feels do-able so maybe set goals in 5 or 10 lb increments (I lost 65 lbs that way although it took longer than a year....original big goal was only 20 lbs though so I "rested" at certain weights for a month or 2 before deciding to lose a bit more). Best of everything to you - this is a great place for support.
