Has anyone noticed any proper weight loss from using green tea?
I have recently bought some as it said it was great for losing weight.

  • Green Tea is supposed to be great for boosting your metabolism and it's in most diet supplements and diet protein shakes. There is research however that it would take a LOT of green tea per day to significantly affect weight loss on its own.

I use a decaf lemon version as a substitute for regular tea/coffee as it kills two birds with one stone - no sugar/milk/caffeine and a little metabolism boost. I think it's a good addition to healthy diet and fitness routine.
  • Green tea is good for weight loss because it suppresses your appetite and is also known as a 'detox' drink. Whenever I feel the urge to snack, I make myself a cup of green tea with jasmine. The process of making it can sometimes be enough distraction from hunger in itself.
