Lost enthusiasm

I’ve only been on here for maybe three weeks. I think I came out of the gate strong (well, the first two days I didn’t do too well, but after that). I was hungry but enthusiastic and determined to stay in that calorie goal. But I’m losing that pep and it’s challenging not to give in to the desire to over eat/just eat whatever regardless of calories, sugar, fat etc. I went over my calorie budget today by a little. But I’m actually still slightly hungry.
How do you handle being hungry/ having the urge to eat when you’ve already met or even exceeded your calorie goal?

You shouldn't be hungry all the time. Hunger should go away after eating, and if it's not it's one of a few things: not eating enough/too steep a deficit, not getting the right mix of macros that helps you stay satisfied, not eating back exercise calories.0

What is your calorie limit? Do you exercise? Are you eating back your exercise calories if so?
Also what kinds of foods are you eating? Some high-calorie foods are infamous for not being filling (i.e. chips, sweets, etc).0 -

Im thinking maybe I’m just not used to eating so “little” (or what is little compared to what I was eating). Which would fall under the “not eating enough/too steep a deficit” category.
I do eat back some of my exercise calories but not all.
As for macros, that may be part of it too. I have snacks that have plenty of protein, like nuts and hard boiled eggs. But I don’t think I get much fiber. And fiber is one of the micros....right?0 -

My budget is 1590. I know before I started I must have been doing over 2000 a day.
I try to go on a walk as often as I can. With the weather being nice, that’s been practically everyday. Today it rained. Sadly.
I eat back some of the exercise calories. Not all.
If I’m honest, my diet could use improving. But I eat healthier now than what I was.0
