Any suggests to keep up with exercising while already in pain? I have RA which can be very painful at times. It's hard to
maintain my exercise program, or even think about it.

The best and most general advice I can give to anyone working through chronic illness is do what you can when you can, then stop and heal. I have a "place holder" that I use to keep myself in the habit on the days that I just can't. Even if I can't do anything else, I'll stretch to the sky and touch my toes. On days I am willing and able to do a whole workout, it's never longer than 20 minutes. I recently worked with a physical therapist for chronic pain issues, and the resistance band exercises she gave me have done wonders for my day to day strength. As long as I don't let myself lose the habit when I need to take a week or two from my formal exercise, I find I can keep making progress.3

Great advice! I just feel horrible when I dont exercise, mentally and physically.
On the days I can exercise, I tend to overdo it, which I usually pay for
 Thank you!2

I got some yoga stuff for my bad days. I got a strap, blocks and a mat. This allows me to stretch even when every part of my body hurts. It's not much, but its something and usually makes me feel better. Even on days where I can't get out of bed, my boyfriend brings me the strap and I can still do some stuff in bed.
I wish you luck and more good days than bad 1 1

If you have access to a pool, you may find it is easier to get a workout in there.2
