Eating before your morning workout has absolutely nothing to do with weight loss.

Eat what you like, when you like. Stay within your calorie allowance.

If you’re eating and then working out, keep it light or you’ll be seeing it again soon.

If I’m doing a morning ‘get up and go’ workout I’ll use an electrolyte drink with caffeine to wake me up. Then a regular breakfast when I get back.

As long as you keep within your calorie goal then have whatever you want. It’s staying within that goal that’ll generate weight loss.

The need for anything prior to working out depends on the duration and intensity of the workout. Most people have enough stored glycogen to do around 90 minutes of moderate exercise even when fasted. If you do feel the need to eat something you'll get a bit more of a perceived energy boost from simple carbs (a banana perhaps?) and caffeine (most pre-workout expensive supplements are nothing more than caffeine and sugars).

Weight loss is related to your total calorie intake vs expenditure over time not what you eat before working out.
