So I grew up with a skinny sister. tall, long hair, thin. I was the thicker one with boobs bt I am striving to weigh less than her. Shes not a stick anymore but its something that helps motivate me. Also we have family out of state and we dont see them much so I thought it would be great if could lose a ton of weight for everyone to notice. get some nice attention, know what I mean? lol I want to be an inspiration for my friends and family. If I can do this anyone can. I am the queen of losing/gaining and quitting. I'm praying that this time will be the real deal. I have started the insanity program 10 days ago. its a 60 day deal. I am following my own nutritianal guidlines and exercising daily on top of that. I have been taking before and after pics to post but I dont have anything worthy of putting up right now, nor do I know how to do that yet but I am hoping I will have the support of many of you fitnesspal friends I need something more to look foward to to help me keep going and its awesome to know I am not alone.
In March and April of this year I had to stay with the In-Laws while our home was being built. My max weght there was 199!!!! I was in shock. Now its aug 25th and I am at 178 and stuck. My goal is to be at least 170 by sept 23rd. I have Ball to go to but my long term go is 140 for now.
If you are in the same boat as me, friend me so we can support eachother. I wish you all a happy weightloss journey

I am the same way with weight loss. I'm down 30 pounds and struggling to get past. At first I didn't really have time to work out much, but I counted every calorie I took in and wore a heart rate monitor all day every day so I could calculate how many calories I burned. By just watching what I ate, the first 15 pounds just melted off. I also cut out (most) alcohol, which definitely helped! I'd allow myself a glass of wine here and there on special occasions, but other than that its just a lot of empty calories. I weigh myself first thing every morning and write down my weight on my calender so I can chart my progress and any unhealthy patterns that come up in my weekly/monthly schedule. Hang in there, you're totally worth it!!0
