Find good recipes. Really I used Pinterest when I was a vegan and then a vegetarian and now I make a lot of meatless options. I now incorporate fish, chicken and eggs in my diet but finding things that taste good that are meatless is the first route to go. Especially dinners/lunches. If you don’t like the flavor it’s not going to workout.

    Good luck!

I've been veg for nearly 45 years.

You need the same nutients as a veg that you did as an omnivore, but it takes a tiny bit more awareness to be sure you get them. Too many people I've known think of vegetarianism as about what they stop eating (meat and fish, sometimes eggs or dairy). It's not. It's about how to eat to get sound long-term nutrition. If someone only just stops eating meat/fish, without changing anything else, I've seen that lead to bad consequences.

It's fairly easy to get the right nutrients, but it's not automatic: It will possibly require other eating changes beyond dropping meat/fish. You need to think about protein, iron, calcium, B12 and maybe others.

It's good to stop thinking like a meat eater. Theoretically, you can replace meat with fake meat, but the nutrients and calories differ, so it's not 1-for-1. Think about getting bits of protein from lots of different foods. Replacing "What's for dinner? Chicken" with "What's for dinner? Gardein Chick'n" won't necessarily do it.

    Best wishes!

Maybe it would be easier to give advice if we knew why you were looking forward to it. Do you have any specific expectations?

If you don't wish to reply please read what @AnnPT77 wrote. It is very important to understand how to maintain your basic nutritional needs. It is not as easy as skipping the steak and just eating the salad.
