Small Kitchen Appliances You Help You Lose Weight

Is there a small kitchen appliance you use that helps you lose weight AND WHY does it help? Don't forget to add WHY it helps you.

My go to-couldn't live without small appliance is my AIR FRYER. Actually, we have 3, two 5.3 quart and one smaller one. Sometimes we use 2 at a time. You can "fry" using no oil or if you want, use something like a Evo spray bottle that will add a tiny bit of oil (I only use olive oil) to help your food crisp up better. You can cook just about anything in it, not just fry food.

Instant Pot. I make yogurt in it every week plus make soups, chili, and chicken breasts. I also agree with food scale!

Not an appliance but a baking dish for 1 portion. I use it to bake an apple in it, with a little water and cinnamon.
Of course my food scale which I have on counter top so whenever I go to kitchen is reminder to weigh all foods.

Foreman Grill. Not only does it drain the grease, it makes cooking so easy even a hopeless person like myself can still make dinner sometimes. We used to barely cook at all because... yeah. :/

My Ninja Foodi. It's like an Instant Pot and an Air Fryer had a beautiful baby. Makes proteins beautifully, and makes veg delicious. Allows me to have crispy delicious fries and chicken strips without oil. I make big batches of high protein yogurt regularly in it. It also lets me cook meat from frozen, which entices me to buy bigger quantities of high-quality meat and reduces waste.

    Or my food scale, but....

I have a Foodi, yet unused. I am trying to use up all my "convenience" food, full of sodium 🧂 and other preservatives. Got a ton of that in the freezer that I have to use up. Then to put my Ninja Foodi to good use. I also have a Instant Pot. Actually, I think I have every small appliance known to man! LOL

UNUSED? Get that thing out and use it! We ONLY ate ninja meals for like the first month after I got it. My poor oven is just now starting to be used occasionally again (we got the Ninja for Christmas)

The sodium filled preserved food will be fine for a while (what, with all the sodium and preservatives). Use the Ninja, save some convience foods for when the Foodi accessories are dirty or in the dishwasher. Hehe.

My spiralizer to make zucchini noodles, and my salad spinner for washing lettuce. I like having zoodles or salad for lunches to save on calories.
Oh and my Nespresso machine .. for lots of espresso which keeps my appetite down

Microwave. Cooking gets done mostly on the weekends.

The on plan choices are always ready to go. Just a few minutes and it’s ready. Going astray would be more work.

Food scale for much more accurate logging. And my salad spinner for washing, semi-drying, and storing spinach so it takes much less effort to make salads.
