Healthy cake recipes please without bananas

Angel food cake is low calorie. It's kind of a pain to make, although depending on how invested you are there are even box versions.

It's not that hard, though - I make one for Mrs Jruzer's birthday most years. You just have to be careful separating the eggs, and use a hand mixer instead of a whisk.

Please define what you mean by "healthy cake" and this will help people with ideas. Do you mean no sugar? No flour? No fat?

If a recipe has more sugar than you want, you can use a sugar substitute for all or part of it. Or make it less sweet in general. It might affect the texture slightly, but in general it's not a big deal. I would just add the liquid slowly because the most common thing is that you might not need "quite" as much.
OTOH, if you have a piece of regular cake once in awhile, you'll both probably be ok, depending on your hubby's sensitivity to sugar.
