Has anyone lost weight with CICO while counting macros and also without? Was there a notable difference? Ie: rate of weight loss, weight vs fat loss, energy levels, etc?

I’ve never counted macros.
For me, I think they average out over time.

I've done several different macro percentages (including keto at one period and high carb now). None helped me lose weight better than another.2

Also I'd like to add that on another social media platform my user name is lala hikes. We are lala twins. 🙂2

CICO is an energy balance equation. It represents the fact that if you are in a calorie deficit you will lose weight, if your CI<CO.
The macro split you choose has no bearing on the CICO equation. It’s possible that certain macro percentages could be more satiating and easier to maintain a deficit, therefore making weight loss a little less daunting, but macros don’t determine weight loss if calories are kept constant.6
