Any tips? I lost 4lb my first week, managed to be in calorie deficit 5 days last week and have gained 3 lb :(

    It's too small a timescale to make a judgement. Weight loss is not linear. However, do check the basics - the settings used on mfp (assuming you used the app) to calculate your calorie target and therefore your deficit number, are you using a food scale and weighing everything? are you using correct database entries?

    PMS is real if you’re a woman. No matter what I do the week before my special week I gain 5 pounds usually.

    Could you be experiencing the same?
