Hi all, I’ve been using this fitness pal to reduce my weight from 89/90 to 84/85 for a parachute jump I’m planning. So fair by cutting out digestives and chocolate -really hard- I’ve managed to lose 3kgs in 3 weeks or so. Run 30mins or swim everyday to give the metabolism a boost, what else can I try? I’m in Somerset if anyone is local. Thanks

what else can you try to accomplish what?

6lbs in 3 weeks is an aggressive rate of loss especially if you are not obese. in fact you look like you are already within a healthy weight range already so it's way too fast a rate of loss. you should be looking at 0.5lb/week (mayyybe 1 but that may be too aggressive as well). loosing too fast when one doesn't have fat means your body may need to take from muscles to keep the rate of loss.

you can spot reduce. genetics dictates where we lose first and last and for many people the stomach is the last place to lose.

Thanks but in my BMI I was 28.... so that’s not good. Now down to 26 so if I reach 25 I’ll be very pleased. My muscle mass hasn’t changed but my belly has markedly reduced and i’ve lost my previous sausage appearance ...

Intermittent fasting. 18 hours off. 8 hour eating window. The technique greatly increased my fat burn.
