The Water Question

Hi Everyone,
Just curious. I have made a big switch in my diet. Not in calories, but in additives and stuff. I used to drink a Monster, Absolute Zero everyday, sometimes two a day. I drank very little other liquids, if any. I was told I couldn't count Monsters toward my daily water goal because of the amount of additives, caffeine, etc.
So now I'm drinking a "Kroger Crystal Clear" sparkling water beverage everyday instead of the monsters. One bottle is 32 ozs, and I can tolerate it very well. I like it so much that I can easily see myself drinking two of them and meeting the 64 oz daily goal of water. But can I count it as water? It's got some additives, of course, but no caffeine, coloring or any of the "nasty stuff."
I'm just really hopeful that this will be the break I need to finally start being able to get my daily water intake in.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

I think that you can count it as water consumption, but I may be wrong... I do recall when I was on WW they were counting the flavored waters as water.0

I am assuming that the Kroger Crystal Clear is like a Crystal Light packet stick that you stir into the water? If so, yes, you can count it as a glass (remember to count add'l glasses dependent on how ever many water ounces you mixed it with) Most times, you can totally ''water'' those packet sticks down, but still get the flavor, and enjoy it better than ''just plain ol' water'' AND get more than one glass taken care of for the day. Just my $0.02!0

I would count it! As long as it doesn't add sugar or calories, go for it.0

Yes, it's similar, only it's not something you add to water. It's sparkling water with the flavor already added. They're really inexpensive and taste good. No sugar, calories or caffeine.I would count it! As long as it doesn't add sugar or calories, go for it.
That's all I needed to hear  I'm logging it!!
