Don't know about a "pie maker". I use filo pastry - you can buy it frozen. One or 2 of the very thin sheets for the base in a shallow baking dish. Add filling, another one or two sheets filo, tuck them in on the sides. Bake the normal way in an oven - depending on how much filling there is and voila! Best you serve them on a a plate, the pastry is too thin to keep the filling safely enclosed. Can be used for hot or cold served pies.2

Not sure about a pie maker either but a way to have a traditional crust while cutting calories is to only have some crust on the top.
If it makes smaller pieces you can use wonton wrappers and just have that as the bottom of the "pie"
Real crust is loaded with calories because of so much butter/fat to make it flaky
Another way is to core an apple and put a little sugar and cinnamon in it and just a few strips of crust across the top of the apple then bake it. If you have more calories to spare, add a touch of butter in the core too1 -
Great idea0
