I love pizza. however, instead of ordering it at pizza hut, I make my own!

I grind my own whole wheat flour and use that as the dough.
then, I use all fresh vegetables and cheese...and bon appetite! absolutely AMAZING. delicious...fresh tasting...and so much healthier than pizza hut or papa johns! it's fun to occasionally have pizza making parties with friends too;)

what are your favorite foods that you can make at home rather than buying them out?

I make pizza as well using whole wheat pita bread, tomato sauce, and some shredded cheese. I am lazy so I just microwave it.

I made falafel for the first time last year and it was so good! Of course it's deep-fried, though. I need to see if I can perfect a baked version when it gets cold enough outside to turn my oven back on.

When I don't have time to bake my own pizza, Whole Foods has good pizza, wheat dough, you choose ur veggies ...made fresh ready in30 min. delish!
  • I make english muffin pizzas! Just use an english muffin, a can of tomato sauce ( I like the garlic herb and oregano one), mozzarella cheese and maybe some little mini pepperonis. You just bake in the oven at 350 for about 15-20 mins until cheese is melted! Super de-lish!
  • lo-mein. I succumb to it way more often than I should. :9 although I fill it with tons and tons of vegetables in the hopes that I eat more of those than the noodles, hahah.
