Healthy BMI!!!!

I am fairly new to MFP but I have been on my weight loss journey for about 16 years (ever since puberty). I've always gotten to a certain point, plateaued (now I know because I wasn't eating enough), got depressed and gained some, if not all, back. I've always been active - I like running, but at certain points I lose steam and energy to continue (because i wasn't eating enough).
Well in May, I joined Weight Watchers and successfully lost 20 pounds and then - surprise surprise - I plateaued. SO FRUSTRATING. So I decided to do some research and switch to calorie counting so I could pin point exactly what the problem was. I chose MFP because the eating back your exercise calories just made sense to me. I couldn't believe how little I was eating before (and NOT getting hungry, which I thought was good). Now i eat what I ate before with a few healthy additions, have a cup of my favorite real ice cream every night (Breyer's Mint Chocolate Chip) and within a week and a half of doing that I've lost 6 pounds - which brings me to 164 - the high end of the Healthy Weight range for my height (5'8").
This is the first time I haven't been in the "overweight" category since I was 13!!!!!!!!
I still have some pounds to lose, but this was a huge hurdle for me, and I'm beyond thrilled! I think I will make this day, August 25th my unofficial second birthday YAY!
