I'm looking for recipes that will fill me up w/ not so many calories. (Preferably no starch, bread etc...) I LOVE Calypso chicken http://www.publix.com/aprons/meals/MainDish/SimpleMeal.do?mealId=2018&mealGroupId=1004 I exclude the rice and only cook the peas in 1/4 cup of coconut milk w/ jerk seasoning. 360 cal meal and you feel as if you cheated but came far from! AND you have 3 days of leftovers! Share your favorite recipes please, I'd love to try some new things.

This is good and filling. It also freezes well. I can be full on one cup vs the 1 2/3 cups per serving.

    Jamaican Chili

    Ingredients

    Vegetable cooking spray
    1 tsp olive oil
    1 1/2 c chopped onion
    2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 1/2 c chopped sweet yellow pepper (Had a green bell pepper and used that instead)

    1 Tb ground cumin
1 Tb hot hungarian paprika (I only had sweet so used that)
    1Tb chili powder
    2 tsp sugar
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp ground cloves

    2 (14 1/2 oz) cans no-salt-added stewed tomatoes, undrained
1 (15 oz) can kidney beans, drained
1 (15oz) can canellini beans, drained
1 (15oz) can black beans, drained
    1 cup water
    2 Tb no-salt-added tomato paste

    2 TB balsamic vinegar
1/4 cup plus 2 Tb minced fresh cilantro

    1. Coat a Dutch oven with cooking spray; add olive oil. Place over medium-high heat until hot. Add onion and garlic; saute until onion is tender. Add yellow pepper; saute until pepper is tender. Add cumin and next 5 ingredients; saute 1 minute.

    2. Stir in tomatoes and next 5 ingredients; bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 20 minutes.

    3. Remove from heat;stir in vinegar. Ladle chili into individual bowls. Top each service with 1 tablespoon cilantrol.

    Yield: 6 (1 2/3 cup) servings

Personally, I'm a vegetarian but, I am absolutely addicted to this food I make.

    Boca Patty (Tomato Basil flavor)
    Langendorf sesame hamburger bun
    Kraft Fat Free Cheese singles
Large egg cooked over easy (To be placed on top of cheese and under lettuce)
    Lettuce leaf
    Ketchup & Mustard

I usually cook the burger in "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter Light" instead of any oils.

It's unexplainable how much I love this little 300 calorie meal.

I just posted this in the kale thread but it really is my go-to recipe for something fast and delicious - turkey kale burgers! from here: http://runnersfeed.com/homemade-kale-turkey-burgers/

I eat them without the bun and top with avocado slices - sooo tasty.
