What do you do when you're over your calorie mark and it's 8pm and youre still mad hungry?
I'm 300 calories over, I'm hungry, and have to loose 1.5lbs by Monday.
What do you do on days like this?

What happens if you don’t lose 1.5 pounds by Monday?9

In order to lose 1.5 pounds by Monday you would need to burn 5250 calories or hope that you are retaining water currently and you will urinate your way there.
Burning 5250 calories is impossible for most people and to do it would probably require such intense exercise it would damage your muscle and then your body would retain water to repair them.
If you are highly stressed over whatever happens on Monday your cortisol will increase and you will retain water so you are better off relaxing and eating some food.11 -
Personally, I'd eat something filling but moderate in calories, and try to figure out why I was so hungry on my calorie allowance, so I could avoid that situation in the future. To me, weight loss is a learning process and practice for maintaining a healthy weight long-term, so the process of gradually figuring out how to hit a calorie goal and feel satisfied is imporant.
But I wouldn't lose 1.5 pounds by Monday. That's pretty extreme. I assume you have your reasons, but I'm not much of a fan of deadline-driven weight loss for myself.9 -
early to bed normally means its because I am at my calorie limit

Drop the artificial dead lines because they're counter productive to long term success
Here's what you're doing with your deadline:
You're increasing your chances of going off the rails and rebound over eating (not a win)
You're increasing your chances of going to bed early (as someone mentioned) which locks in the majority of your deficit (win) but slightly decreases your TDEE (not a win for most of us)
Your increasing your chances of being just a tad bit more tired and lethargic tomorrow thus again decreasing you TDEE.
Drop the deadlines. Keep to reasonable deficits. Win.11 -
Make some air popcorn. Filling and low calorie.
As for your goal? Not gonna happen.2 -
Thank you all! I think I have to adjust my mindset. Perhaps I worry about rebounding or losing progress if I'm not strict on goals but realistically it takes time.2
