So I am currently getting close to wrapping up my 6th week of classic p90x and was wondering what many of you have done once you completed the program. I've read some people do it all over again the whole 12 weeks, whereas others move on to other different programs. I would like to hear your thoughts and what you have done after the 12 weeks were done.

As you had mentioned, many people do a second round. THe other option is pick another program. Mainly depends on your goals. There is P90X plus and one on one with tony horton which are workouts designed after p90x. Are you still looking for strength training and cardio? What are your main goals?

I'm in week 7 of the classic program and my plan after I finish is to keep rotating the workouts with some of my other workouts. I won't be doing a set program, but I'm going to continue working out as often as I am now, just with a little more variety.

OMG, I had posted a blog that asked: Is there life after P90X?? No!!!!

After I did P90X the first time about 4 years ago, I did it all over again. Then I started incorporating it with other work outs. I do that til tis day. In my opinion, P90X may be the best work out EVER!!

They do have P90X Plus. It's designed for you to incorporate it in with P90Xand it's challenging! but I didn't love it like I did P90X. It wasn't as much fun for me.

So these day, I've been incorporating P90X, Insanity, P90X Plus, Chalean Extreme, kickboxing, and my newest to the collection: Supreme 90. Since it's summer, I go to the track, run the trails, and conduct boot camp on Saturdays. It's important to keep things interesting and fresh.

But... I will always be a P90X girl. I swear by it and I tell everyone.

    Good luck!

I am currently on week 4 of the first 90 days the classic, I plan on doing a combo of insanitity and move to P90X Doubles. I saw a young lady named souljagurlsha on youtube who did this after her first 90 days and she looks amazing. (She has completed P90X 4 times, wow). I can't wait to get to that stage.

There is P90X Plus that adds more extreme cardio, One on One with Tony Horton adds a new workout every month to add to your collection, there's tons to choose from, plus you can have it auto shipped monthly. AND P90X2 is coming out this fall!

What is your goal is the operative question? My hubby did p90x/Insanity hybrid while I completed Insanity end of last year. He looks fantastic and he's just really working on 2 sets of muscle groups a day and wants a 6-pack. Since I'm about 5-6 lbs away from my weight goal I've been ramping up my workouts and keeping it interesting. We don't stick to a program but we still incorporate Insanity frequently (the upper body weight training and some other favorites).

I think whatever you enjoy and what will get you to your goal. If you love p90x go for another round. If you want to try other things like take classes at a gym, get into a sport, or focus on abs. I am currently doing Jillian Michaels' 6wk 6pk abs and incorporating the Abs diet power foods into my eating habits (which I was pretty much doing already). You already appear to be at a great weight and your eating is consistent.

First let me say great job getting that far with P90X. As far as what's next like it has been said it depends on your goals. For me and to several of the people I coach Insanity was next. Others it was P90X+. It depends on you.

    Hope this helps.

I did a P90x/Insanity/One on One Doubles Hybrid after my first round, and I'm currently on week 4 of Asylum. Next up is my version of P90x2 based on the One on Ones with added running, swimming and kick boxing.

What are your goals post P90x? They should dictate what is your best option is for your next cycle.
