    I'm a 285 pound athletic guy looking to lose about 35 pounds. I've recently started eating low carb and natural foods and have had good results so far. I'm already at 274 pounds as of today.

    I'd be happy to share my thoughts on how to be healthy and lose weight, and would love to hear if you have any advice, good workouts, or good books you'd recommend as well.

    I'd love some new friends, too! I just rejoined MFP after some great success a few years back, and then falling off the wagon. For me, I know the key to success on MFP is having a group of friends for accountability and motivation!

    About me: My name's Miranda -- I just turned 35, live in Seattle, WA, and have a desk job. I'm hoping to lose some weight so I can fit back into my favorite clothes.     Been a sideline, occasionally active member for awhile. Really want to drop these pounds. I’m 48, 5’9”, 280 lbs, not very active and 100% sweet addicted.

    I like new friends, but I'm not motivational or inspirational or any of that. You can depend on me to *kitten* all over your accomplishments. You can also feel good about yourself by comparing your achievements to mine. I don't try very hard. Don't say I didn't warn you when I post something *kitten* on your 1,000 day streak. Good job spending five seconds opening the app everyday for three years. I'm already impressed.
