I decided to try to sprint across the high school football field which is not real grass as soon as I took off both my quad muscles got really tight I had to stop now I can barely bend my legs. What can I do to relieve the soreness so I can do spin class and body pump class tomorrow or should I rest and soak. I workout 7 days a week twice a day hopefully this doesn’t set me back

Is that recommended? I thought athletes can benefit from rest days and active recovery...8 -
Sounds more like an injury than muscle soreness from exercising. You probably need to take time off and recover. And, going forward, schedule regular rest days. Don't work out seven days a week.11

Rest and soak and see how you feel the next day. If just sore, take ibuprofen and carry on. If in moderate to severe pain, rest again. Its possible you pulled or strained your quads and need more than a day's rest.0

By working out twice a day seven days a week it was bound to happen. Not taking rest days coupled with over exercising leaves your muscles unable to adapt and recover, meaning you're much more likely to injure yourself. Its likely an overuse injury. Rest, and when you return to exercising cut back. Regardless of what your goals are you're not doing your body any favors by keeping up your current pace.11

Working out 7 days a week isn't the worst thing ever if done properly. I generally wouldn't advise more than 6 days a week but as long as you're adjusting your training structure to fit your lifestyle, diet, and recovery then you can do it. However, if you're haphazardly putting together exercises and jumping from one workout to the next with no proper structure of a balanced program then you're probably well on your way to getting injured or sick.1
