mfp says for me it is 150 but I ate my calorie allowance and under 100 every day carbs and lost 30 lbs in 4 months. I was doing low carb but that is just me. Dont be embarrassed, join the club, I gained 25 lbs back after 5 year maintenance and was pretty upset about it. Got it off last year, thank goodness.1

It should be something that suits you, there is no one size fits all.
I suggest tracking everything for two weeks and then make small adjustments based on that. But remember that MFP counts all forms of sugar, good or bad, so it is near enough impossible to track properly. Just try to limit refined sugars. I mean, I am vastly over the MFP sugar goal today because of naturally occurring sugars in semi-skimmed milk, banana and raspberries. I've not touched refined sugar so far today.3 -

You don't have to be embarrassed about starting again! You're righting your course. You can't change what happened, you can only change what happens from now on. I wish you all the best on your journey!2

Thank you, that's a nice way of putting my situation.1

Hey, don’t feel embarrassed. I’m starting again too, with a plan to lose 30 pounds. I lost about 25 before and gained some of it back. For your second question, I couldn’t answer that because I don’t track carbs, fats, etc. I just stay under my calorie allowance. But I wish you the best of luck. You can do this!2

Hi, I just sent you a friend request! I started a new account here today as well.
I lost 16 kgs back in 2011 and I gained nearly 10. So today is the day, I'm firmly back in the saddle!1 -
